Former Mount Marty College baseball slugger Jeremy Grady had his best swing on the golf course yesterday.  Grady shot a hole-in-one with a five-iron on the 195-yard sixth hole at Hillcrest Country Club during the 28th annual Mount Marty College Golf Classic.  Grady's first career hole-in-one gave him the keys to a new Jeep Compass from Broadway Chrysler Dodge Jeep.

The South Dakota high school boys tennis state tournament begins at 9:00 am today, running through the finals Saturday in Rapid City.  Yankton and Vermillion will go for honors, with SF O'Gorman the defending state champion. 

The Yankton HS track and field athletes will have one more opportunity to qualify for next week's state track meet.  Today, the Bucks and Gazelles will compete in the Last Chance Meet starting at 4 pm at SF Roosevelt, and KYNT Sports will have updates on the action.

Crofton and Hartington Public are both ranked in the top five of their classes in Activity Points through the fall and winter seasons for Nebraska high schools.  Crofton stands third among all Class C schools heading into the state championships this spring in track and field, baseball and golf.  Hartington Public is currently fifth among all Class D schools in the state.
