14th Annual Missouri River Clean Up

The 14th annual Missouri River Clean Up is set for the morning of May 6th at Riverside Park.

More than one hundred tons of trash has been collected during the clean-up’s existence by volunteers and National Park Service Ranger Dugan Smith says people who wish to help with this year’s event should be ready for whatever weather we experience that day as they help to remove litter from the banks of the Missouri River.

Smith says by participating in the event, the clean-up gives people the opportunity to experience the scenic beauty of the Missouri River.

The 14th  annual Missouri River Clean Up gets underway at 8 AM May 6th at Riverside Park.
