Habitat For Humanity held its latest house dedication ceremony Sunday afternoon at 906 Locust in Yankton.
New homeowner Angela Degen thanked many people for making the home possible, including Julie and Rebecca from the main office and their mentors, the Wehrer’s.
Angela has three children that are 13, 9 and 3 years old…and the family contributed over 400 hours of “sweat equity” into the construction of the home.
Habitat Treasurer Taylor O’Bryan says because of water underneath the home, instead of a basement they had to build a two-story structure.
This was the 46th family served through Habitat’s home ownership program in Yankton County.
