The USD and SDSU football teams both compete in the National FCS Round of 16 Playoffs today, hoping to advance to the national quarterfinals.  The Coyotes play in Texas at sixth-seed Sam Houston State today, while the fifth-seed Jacks host Northern Iowa.  Both playoff games begin at 2:00 today.

The USD women’s basketball team is also in Texas this afternoon for a 1:00 game at Stephen F. Austin, which has a 5 and 1 record while the Coyotes enter the contest at 4 and 3 overall.

The USD men’s basketball team is 7 and 2 on the season and have the toughest test in the nation today, literally.  The Coyote men have a game at unbeaten and top-ranked Duke University in North Carolina starting at 2 p-m.

The Mount Marty College basketball teams both look to get back on the winning track this afternoon at the Cimpl Arena.  The Lancer women will host the College of St. Mary at 2:00 with both teams winless in the G-PAC.  The Lancer men host Oak Hills Christian in a non-conference game at 4:00.  Our broadcast of Mount Marty basketball begins at 1:35 today on AM 1450, KYNT.

The Yankton Bucks wrestling squad competes in the all-day Watertown Invitational today.  The Bucks will wrestle four matches in the meet which begins at 10:00 this morning.

The Yankton Gazelles gymnastics team goes for honors in the Sioux Falls Gymnastics Invitational today with the meet starting at 11 a-m at Lincoln High School.
