Calendar Girls

The Lewis and Clark Theater Company’s production of Calendar Girls is set for early next month at the Dakota Theater.

Executive Director Katie Fargo says the play is centered on the effort to raise funds after one character’s husband dies from leukemia for a sofa for the visitors’ lounge in the hospital where he was treated.

Fargo says the characters decide to print a calendar featuring some of the members of the Women’s Institute discreetly posing nude while engaged in activities such as baking and knitting in order to raise the needed funds.

The Lewis and Clark Theater Company’s production of Calendar Girls is set for February 8th through the 11th with evening performances at  7:30 PM and a Sunday matinee at 2 PM at the Dakota Theater.
