With the process for updating the master plan for Gavins Point Dam and Lewis & Clark Lake getting underway, the US Army Corps of Engineers is looking for input of the public on potential changes that are needed.
Operations Manager Tom Curran says input from the public will play a key role in the master plan’s first update since 2004.
Curran says both government agencies and private individuals or companies made have possible changes they would like to see happen.
Curran says if people have ideas on what changes at Gavins Point they would like to see, this is the time to bring them forward.
The US Army Corps of Engineers is holding a public meeting tonight at 6 PM via Zoom, information on participating can be found on the Omaha Corps of Engineers website.
