At Monday’s meeting, the Yankton City Commission will consider approving an application for funding through the municipal façade improvement grant program, the first such action since the program was suspended last year.
City Manager Amy Leon says the façade grant program was put on the backburner due to the COVID 19 pandemic.
Leon says the project that will be considered is the Anderson Realty building on West 3rd Street.
Leon says the façade grant program encourages private investment in the Meridian District’s appearance.
The Yankton City Commission meets at 7 PM Monday.
