The Yankton High School basketball teams will host Mitchell this evening in a doubleheader starting at 6:00 at the Summit Activities Center. The Kernel girls basketball squad is seeded second in the state, while the Mitchell boys have dropped to sixth as they face the second-ranked Bucks. The Yankton Bucks will compete in the Region 1-A wrestling meet today at Brandon Valley High School. There are nine teams involved and the top four wrestlers in each weight class advance to the state meet next week in Rapid City. Today’s Regional begins at 2:00 in Brandon.
