Nebraska will receive roughly one billion dollars in aid under the federal government’s plan to help states hit by the pandemic. The U.S. Treasury announced a state-by-state funding breakdown for President Biden’s American Rescue Plan. The plan in total will distribute 350 billion dollars to various governmental units.
This money can be used to cover local public health costs, address the economic impacts of the pandemic, replace lost tax revenue, help with pay for essential workers, and infrastructure projects.
