The building that housed Yankton’s history for many years at Westside Park will have a new home soon.
A local business developer has purchased the building that housed the Yankton Territorial Museum. He will soon move it to an empty lot on the north side of 2nd street between Mulberry and Pearl in Yankton’s Meridian District.

Richardson currently owns three buildings in Yankton’s Meridian District, including the buildings that house Great Life and Year-Round Brown along Capital Street.
Richardson adds that after the move, he will do some façade improvements on the old museum building, then market the location for future businesses.
