A Beresford man has been convicted on charges of receipt and distribution of child pornography.
33-year-old Anthony James Berst was sentenced to sixty-six months in federal prison, followed by ten years of supervised release.
According to court documents, Berst received child pornography by various means between September of 2020 and January of this year. He used his Snapchat account to upload files containing child pornography. He also downloaded files that contained child porn from the internet onto his cell phone and laptop.
Berst is in the custody of the U.S. Marshals Service.
