During their regular meeting Tuesday, the Yankton County Commission revealed an updated sewer study for the Lake Yankton area.
The study focused on the possibility of building a sanitary sewer district west of Yankton. While the study focused on the Highway 52 corridor, emphasis was also placed on the Highway 314 corridor.

The study will be posted on the county website in the near future. The study update came at no additional cost to the county, with the James River Water Development District paying for half and American Rescue Plan Act funds paying for the other half.
