Both Gubernatorial candidate Jamie Smith and Senatorial candidate Brian Bengs visited Yankton yesterday.
Both candidates took time to speak at the Yankton County Democrats pot luck which was held at Riverside Park.
Smith says that his campaign is going great and raved about the Yankton community
Bengs added that getting to meet people and speak to them is crucial to his campaign.
Both candidates will continue campaigning around South Dakota with Bengs’ next stop being in Sioux Falls on Wednesday and Smith heading up to Mitchell on Saturday.
