- The newest South Dakota High School Football Media Power Rankings have been released, and there is some movement from a week ago, with the top three, Pierre, Tea Area, and Yankton remaining the same, but Brookings and Aberdeen swapping spots in the four and five spots.

- The (4-3) Yankton Bucks host (4-3) Aberdeen Central Friday night at Crane-Youngworth Field for varsity football action. You can catch the action live on KYNT and KYNTV with Bryce Ladwig, pregame coverage begins at 6pm, kickoff at 7pm.
- Coming off a boys ESD Conference Title performance, Yankton Cross Country now has one invitational remaining this Thursday in Huron before the state meet on the 22nd, also in Huron. Thursday’s meet begins at 4pm from Broadland Creek Golf Course.
- Yankton Competitive Dance and Cheer HOST the ESD Conference Meet at the Summit Activities Center Thursday night at 5pm. This is the first time in eight years that Yankton has hosted this meet.
