Presentation College in Aberdeen has announced that they will close at the end of the summer.
Presentation officials announced Tuesday that they will not be enrolling students for the 2023-2024 academic year but will remain fully credited.
Sister Mary Thomas, the President of the Presentation Sisters Corporate Board released a statement saying “We understand and share the heartbreak by our students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the Aberdeen community, and we will work closely with them to succeed through this transition.”
According to the college, employees will receive staggered end dates and final compensation based on their responsibilities.
The college announced that they have reached teach out agreements with other educational institutions for current students to complete their degrees.
St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa will offer the college’s online BSN program for nursing students.
The college also has agreements with the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota and Olivet College in Michigan.
