Senator John Thune visited Yankton Friday.
During the visit, Thune took time to speak with, and answer questions from an AP Government class at the Yankton High School.
Thune said that the opportunity to discuss issues with a younger generation was very helpful.
Thune discussed a wide variety of issues with the class, including a bill that he introduced, which would see regulation of the social media app TikTok.
Thune also sent well wishes to Senator Mitch McConnell who fell and suffered a concussion Wednesday.
