Tour De Yankton and the Department of Labor hosted the March Tour De Yankton job hiring event yesterday.
Previous Tour De Yankton events saw job seekers travel to the participating businesses; however, yesterday’s event was hosted at the United Way of Greater Yankton Impact Center as a traditional job fair.
Nelson says the change was requested by the businesses participating in the event.
Nelson says that despite Tour De Yankton being held in a public setting, job seekers were still able receive confidential interviews with businesses.
Nelson says that 11 businesses participated in yesterday’s Tour De Yankton.
