The River City Domestic Violence Center has been awarded as the recipient of the 100 Women of Yankton’s twelfth distribution.
The collective giving organization tabbed the RCDVC as the winner of the group’s latest distribution last night after a five-minute presentation by the RCDVC.
Each organization in consideration for the distribution was required to give a five-minute presentation to the 100 Women of Yankton group.
The other organizations that were considered for the distribution were, Yankton Riverboat Days, Pathways Shelter for the Homeless, Yankton Middle School Science Olympiad, and the Yankton Boys and Girls Club.
Kristi Tacke, with 100 Women of Yankton, says that the anticipated amount awarded to the RCDVC is $17,300.
