Yankton High School Track and Cross Country standout Dylan Payer announced on Wednesday that he would continue his athletic and academic career at Coastal Carolina University.
Payer says the choice of Coastal Carolina, which is located in Conway, South Carolina, was a difficult one to make.
Payer also talked about how this past season was a whirlwind for him as a runner, and how it helped him get on the radar of colleges across the country.
Payer says he will be part of both the track & field and cross country programs at the next level. Coastal Carolina is an NCAA Division I institution that currently competes in the Sun Belt Conference.
