Releases at the Gavin’s Point Dam will be reduced in late November.
John Remus, with the US Corps of Engineers, says that releases at the dam will go from 32,000 cubic feet per seconds, to 13,000 cubic feet per second by December 1st.
Remus says that they have a twelve person team in his office that runs models year round on how they need to move water during the winter.
Remus says that they will start reducing releases at the Gavin’s Point Dam around November 22nd.
