Yankton first responders were called to a one-vehicle accident a couple miles south of Yankton Tuesday evening.
Yankton Deputy Fire Chief, Larry Nickles, says that the driver of the vehicle lost control and rolled several times.
Nickles says that the driver was found ejected from the vehicle and was transported to Avera Sacred Heart Hospital with life threatening injuries.
The driver’s condition is unknown at this time.
The accident is being investigated by the Cedar County Sheriff’s Office.
