The state of South Dakota might have some additional funds in the budget for the fiscal year of 2024.
State Senator Jean Hunhoff says that South Dakota may have somewhere between $20 to 30 million in unexpected funds.
Hunhoff says that she credits holiday sales for the additional revenue.
Hunhoff says that the state is nearly $150 million dollars over in projected revenue.
