Another Yankton High School athlete is staying close to home, as Mount Marty Baseball announced on X (formerly known as Twitter) that they have signed Lucas Kampshoff.
Kampshoff is entering his senior year for Yankton baseball. He hit for a .371 average across the high school and legion baseball seasons last year, including 5 home runs, 50 RBIs, and 30 extra-base hits.
Kampshoff is a multi-sport athlete for Yankton High School, leading the Bucks football team to the State Championship game as a quarterback this past fall.
