KYNT Sports Director Bryce Ladwig was honored by the Midwest Broadcast Journalists Association on Saturday, as the first-place winner for Sports Play-By-Play in Small Market Radio at the Eric Sevareid Awards.
Ladwig was awarded for his work on a Bucks Football Broadcast this past season. He was also honored with Awards of Merit for work on Yankton Basketball and Baseball in the same category.
Each year, the MBJA bestows the Severeid Awards on the best work done by broadcast news operations and journalists working in small, medium, and large markets in their six-state region of Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, Wisconsin, and the Dakotas, on radio, television, and online.
This year’s 1st-place honor is the first for Ladwig.
