21st Street in Yankton from West City Limits Road to Summit Street will go under reconstruction Monday.
The City of Yankton says that the scope of the work includes street replacement and water main installation, with the intent of maximizing north-south access on Kellen Gross Drive.
Traffic control will be set to provide for local traffic, but there will be no through traffic allowed where construction is ongoing.
The city says that travelers should find an alternate route to avoid traffic congestion.
The estimated completion date for the project is July 26th.
