Governor Kristi Noem held a press conference Saturday morning to address flooding concerns in Southeastern South Dakota.

Noem says that the James River in Yankton County could crest at 25ft and the Vermillion River in Clay County could crest as high as 30ft.

Noem says that the crest is expected to occur Monday or Tuesday.

Noem says that she has been working with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to monitor the situation.

Noem says that the best way to keep up to date on road closures at this time is SD511.org
