Along with the majority of Southeastern South Dakota, Yankton County has felt the impact of flooding over the past few days.
Yankton County Director of Emergency Management Paul Scherschligt says that the James River is the main concern.
Scherschligt says that SD511.org is the best source for updates on state highways, but recommends visiting https://yanktonoem.com for updates on county roads.
The James River is expected to crest on Wednesday.
