Yankton County Emergency Management Releases Flood Damage Assessment Form

Yankton County Emergency Management has released a damage assessment form for home and business owners that have had damage occur due to flooding.

Yankton County Emergency Management Director Paul Scherschligt says that anyone filling out the form will need to provide their Social Security Number, private insurance information, address, zip code, phone number and directions to their effect home or business.

Scherschligt says that the information provided will be used to collect damage information that may be used to seek a Presidential Disaster Declaration for Individual Assistance or a Small Business Administration Rural Agency Disaster Declaration.
