The Class A Legion Baseball Super Regionals have been finalized. Yankton Post 12 will host Sioux Falls Post 15 West in a three-game series on Thursday and Friday with the winner advancing to the state tournament.
Yankton enters as the #6 team in the class with a 14 and 8 Class A record. Sioux Falls West is 14 and 18 and the #10 team. The two teams split their regular season doubleheader back on June 18th.
Game one will be held on Thursday at 6:00 PM. Game two will be at 4:00 PM on Friday, with game three set to follow if necessary. The full Super Regional Bracket for Class A is available below.

- #8 Brookings earned an automatic bid to the state tournament as the hosts.
- Box Elder, Renner Sultans, and Sturgis did not qualify for the postseason.
The Missouri Valley Football Conference released its preseason poll yesterday. The defending national champions South Dakota State are #1 in the conference with in-state rival South Dakota #3.
SDSU finished last season undefeated for the 2nd-straight year, claiming back-to-back national titles. USD finished 10 and 3 last season, advancing to the quarterfinals of the FCS playoffs.
In addition to the team rankings, several Jackrabbits and Coyotes were selected to the Preseason All-Conference team. The honorees for each school are listed below.

The Freeman Black Sox of the South Central League ended their regular season with a non-league victory on Sunday, defeating Parkston 15 to 8.
Bailey Sage went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. Austin Smidt pitched six innings for the victory.
Freeman begins District 6B Tournament play on Thursday against Wynot. The game will be held in Lesterville.
