The Yankton High School Athletic Booster Club is currently auctioning off VIP Reserved Parking Spaces for YHS events at Crane-Youngworth Field and the YHS Main Gym.
There are two VIP spots available each for football, soccer, and volleyball. Bids can be placed online at riverfrontbroadcasting.com/auction.
The auction for soccer ends at 10:00 PM on Friday, August 16th, for Volleyball on August 23rd, and for football on August 26th.
Bucks and Gazelles Soccer will have their home opener on August 20th, Gazelles Volleyball on August 29th, and Bucks Football on August 30th.
The 2024-25 athletics season begins this month for Mount Marty University, with the Lancers competing in a variety of sports.

- Two matches on August 23rd in Dubuque (duh-b-yook), Iowa against Clarke University and Calumet College of St. Joseph.

MMU Women’s Soccer:
- Friday, August 16th vs Graceland University at Crane-Youngworth Field.
MMU Men’s and Women’s Cross Country:

- August 26th and 27th at the MMU Invite in Yankton.
MMU Women’s Golf:

The AFCA has released their 2024 preseason coaches poll for FCS football, and both South Dakota State and South Dakota make the top 5.
SDSU is ranked #1 in the country coming off of back-to-back national championships, while USD is #5 after their FCS Playoff Quarterfinal appearance last season. This is the 2nd preseason FCS poll to rank both South Dakota Universities in the top 5.
Along with SDSU and USD, seven teams from the Missouri Valley Football Conference made the preseason top 25, with all eleven teams in the conference at least receiving votes. Those teams are listed below.
