Two separate plane crashes occurred in Nebraska on Monday.
The Nebraska State Patrol is reporting that there were two plane crashes, one in Knox County and the other in Wayne County.
The NSP says that the Knox County crash occurred at 9:30 Monday morning, while the Wayne County crash occurred shortly after.
The NSP says that the pilot of the Knox County crash was pronounced dead at the scene and was the lone occupant of the plane. Details in the Wayne County crash have not been released.
The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating both crashes.
