A two-vehicle collision south of Yankton resulted in one fatality on Tuesday.
The Nebraska State Patrol is reporting that a Toyota Yaris was heading south on Highway 81 towards Crofton when it attempted to pass two vehicles and collided with a semi-truck that was northbound.
The driver of the Yaris was pronounced dead at the scene and the name of the victim has not been released.
The semi driver was not injured.
The crash is still under investigation.
