The Heartland Humane Society has kicked off their fundraising campaign that will run through the month of September.
HHS Executive Director, Kerry Feilmeier, says that they have a goal of raising $100,000, which will benefit the organization’s shelter animals and community programming.
Feilmeier says that as a part of the campaign, they will have an online auction September 22nd through the 29th.
Feilmeier says that they will have two wrap up parties at the end of the month. One in Vermillion at XIX Brewing on the 22nd from 4-7 p.m., and the other at Ben’s Brew Station in Yankton on the 29th from 4-7 p.m.
