Yankton Bucks Football returns home tomorrow night for an interclass matchup with the Harrisburg Tigers.

Yankton is currently 4th in the polls for Class 11-AA with a 2 and 1 record. The Tigers enter the game with a 3 and 0 record as the #1 team in 11-AAA.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 PM tomorrow night at Crane-Youngworth Field. Pregame coverage on KYNT and KYNTV begins at 6:00. Bryce Ladwig and Josh Boelter will be on the call.

Yankton Bucks and Gazelles Soccer are on the road tonight for a doubleheader against the Mitchell Kernels.

The Bucks are scheduled to play first at 4:00 PM with the Gazelles to follow. Pregame coverage on KYNT and KYNTV begins at 3:30. Brayden Butler will be on the call.

Yankton Gazelles Volleyball returns home tonight to host the Mitchell Kernels inside the Summit Activities Center.

First serve is scheduled for 7:00 PM this evening. Pregame coverage on KYNT Plus and KYNTV begins at 6:30. Bryce Ladwig will be on the call.

Mount Marty Volleyball fell to the Hastings College Broncos last night, three sets to zero.

Caitlin Guenther led the Lancers with 7 kills in the loss. Freshman Setter Tevan Erickson tallied 14 assists.

The Lancers return home for their Lancer Days match with the College of Saint Mary on Saturday. First serve is scheduled for 1:00 PM.

Mount Marty Men’s and Women’s Soccer were swept last night in their GPAC opening doubleheader against Dakota Wesleyan.

Both games ended 2-1 in favor of the Tigers. Oliver Danser scored the lone goal for the Lancer men with Shyanna Reich scoring for the MMU women.

The Lancers are back in action with a doubleheader on  Saturday against Waldorf in Forest City, Iowa. The women play first at 5:30 PM with the men to follow.

Mount Marty Cross Country athlete Logan Ferrari has been selected as the GPAC Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week.

Ferrari was the top collegiate finisher and third overall at the Sunflower Open over the weekend, posting a school record time of 25 minutes, 23.75 seconds.

Next up for Lancer Cross Country is the Wildcat Open hosted by Wayne State on September 28th.

Mount Marty Men’s Golf fell to Briar Cliff 12-9 on Wednesday in a Ryder Cup-style dual in Elk Point.

Wout Kerkhofs and Ted Bengston won for MMU in Four-Ball and played to a draw in Modified Chapman. Individually,  Kerkhofs, Cassens, Jimmie Cunningham, Spencer Nelson, Austin Martin, and Cameron Zahrbock all picked up singles wins.

MMU hosts the Tatanka Invitational for their next competition, September 30th through October 1st.

Yankton returns to the courts today to host a quadrangular at the Yankton High School Tennis Courts 

Rapid City Christian, Vermillion, and Sioux Falls Christian will compete in the event. Yankton and Vermillion will not play each other. Matches are scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM.

Yankton Bucks Golf is on the road tomorrow for an invitational at Lake View Golf Course in Mitchell. Tee time is set for 10:30 AM.

Yankton Cross Country will be in Norfolk, Nebraska tomorrow for a competition at Norfolk Skyview Lake.

Girls varsity is scheduled for 10:00 AM with the boys varsity race to follow at 10:30 AM.
