Mount Marty University hosted an event to address state of education in the Yankton community on Thursday.
The event featured two guest speakers, MMU President, Dr. Marc Long and Yankton School District Superintendent, Dr. Wayne Kindle.
Long says that Mount Marty is seeing steady growth with an enrollment increase each of the last eight years.
Kindle spoke about the YSD’s Trailhead Learning Center, which he says is coming along nicely.
Trailhead Learning Center is set to open in the fall of 2025.
