Yankton Bucks Football returns home tonight to host the #1 team in Class 11-AAA, the Harrisburg Tigers.

Yankton is 2 and 1 on the year following last week’s 74-6 win over Douglas. Harrisburg is undefeated at 3 and 0 with an average margin of victory of 27.3 points.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 PM this evening. Pregame coverage on KYNT and KYNTV begins at 6:00 PM. Bryce Ladwig and Josh Boelter will be on the call.

Yankton Bucks and Gazelles Soccer swept the Mitchell Kernels last night in their doubleheader.

The Bucks were down 2-0 early on but battled back with 4 straight goals, capped off by Anthony Alfonso with 12 seconds remaining in the first half.

The Bucks would go on to win 5-3 with Jack Pedersen notching a brace, picking up his 2nd goal of the match in the 2nd half.

The Gazelles took a hard-fought 2-0 win over the defending Class AA State Runner-Ups in Mitchell. Iyanna Becker got the scoring started just over 13 minutes into the match

Auvianna Seiler scored the final goal in the 2nd half to secure the victory for the Gazelles.

Yankton returns home for a doubleheader on Tuesday against the Pierre Governors.

Yankton Gazelles Volleyball picked up a 3 set to 2 victory last night over the Mitchell Kernels.

Yankton returns to action on Tuesday to host the Sioux Falls Lincoln Patriots inside the Summit Activities Center.

Mount Marty Football has their Lancer Days game tomorrow at Crane-Youngworth Field against GPAC newcomer Waldorf.

The Lancers are 2 and 1 on the year following their loss to Northwestern last week. Waldorf enters tomorrow’s game at 0 and 3 following a loss to Doane.

Mount Marty Volleyball will also host a Lancer Days game on Saturday, taking on the College of Saint Mary at Cimpl Arena.

The Lancers are 8 and 5 on the year coming off of a 3-0 loss to Hastings on Wednesday.

First serve is scheduled for 1:00 PM tomorrow afternoon.

Yankton Gazelles Tennis went 2 and 0 at a home event yesterday, sweeping Rapid City Christian 9-0 and defeating Sioux Falls Christian 7-2.

Nor Krajewski (Kra-ski), Sabrina Krajewski, Paige Mitzel, and Kara Koerner (Kerner) all went undefeated across their singles and doubles matches.

Next up for Gazelles Tennis is a triangular next Thursday in Harrisburg.

Yankton Bucks Golf is on the road today for an invitational at Lake View Golf Course in Mitchell. Tee time is set for 10:30 AM.

Yankton Cross Country will be in Norfolk, Nebraska today for a competition at Norfolk Skyview Lake. Races are scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM.\
