Yankton Bucks football is 4th in the latest South Dakota High School Football Media and tied for 3rd in the Coaches Poll following their loss to Harrisburg last week.

In the Class 11-AA media poll, Watertown remains in 1st, Brookings moved into 2nd and Pierre fell to 3rd. Spearfish rounds out the top 5. Also in the area, Avon remains 1st in Class 9-B.

Yankton Bucks and Gazelles Soccer have their final home doubleheader of the regular season today, hosting the Pierre Governors.

The Bucks are 2, 9, and 1 on the season following a 5-3 win over Mitchell last week. The Gazelles enter at 7,4, and 1, and are receiving votes in the latest Class AA Coaches Polls.

The Gazelles will play first at 4:00 PM with the Bucks to follow. Pregame coverage on KYNT and KYNTV begins at 3:30. Brayden Butler will be on the call.

Mount Marty Volleyball returns to the hardwood tonight, hosting Dakota State inside Cimpl Arena.

The Lancers are 9 and 5 on the year coming off a five-set victory over the College of Saint Mary on Saturday.

First serve is scheduled for 7:30 PM. Pregame coverage on KYNT Plus and KYNTV begins at 7:00. Tehl Tanner will be on the call.

Yankton Gazelles Volleyball is back in action tonight, hosting the Sioux Falls Lincoln Patriots inside the Summit Activities Center.

Yankton is 2 and 10 on the season following a five-set victory over the Mitchell Kernels last week. Lincoln enters with a 5 and 5 record.

First serve is scheduled for 7:00 PM this evening.

The Mount Marty Men’s and Women’s Soccer returns to action on Wednesday in split games. The women travel to Omaha to face the College of Saint Mary while the men host Jamestown at Crane-Youngworth Field.

Yankton Bucks Golf is on the road today for a varsity invitational in Watertown. Tee time at Watertown Municipal Cattail Golf Course is scheduled for 10:00 AM.

Yankton Competitive Cheer and Dance travel to Brandon, South Dakota tonight for a varsity invitational. Competitions are scheduled to begin at 5:00 PM at Brandon Valley High School.

Mount Marty is 7th as a team following the opening day of the Siouxland Invitational Women’s Golf Tournament in Sioux Center, Iowa.

The Lancers shot a 344 as a team. Kelsey Heath led MMU with an 80 to finish the day in 11th, followed by Kamri Kittelson, who’s tied for 27th after shooting 86.

The final round of the tournament will be held today at Landsmeer Golf Course in Orange City, Iowa.

The Yankton Quarterback Club will host their weekly meeting tomorrow at the River Rock Event Center in Yankton.

Mount Marty University athletic director Andy Bernatow will be this week’s featured guest speaker.

A paid meal will be served beginning at 11:15 with the meeting scheduled to start at noon. The public is invited to attend.
