Yankton Bucks Football is on the road tonight for a rematch of last year’s Class 11-AA State Championship against the Pierre Governors.

Yankton and Pierre both enter tonight’s matchup with 2 and 2 overall records. Yankton is coming off a loss to Harrisburg with Pierre losing to Brookings last week.

Kickoff from Hollister Field in Pierre is scheduled for 7:00 PM. Pregame coverage on KYNT and KYNTV begins at 6:00. Bryce Ladwig and Josh Boelter will be on the call.

Mount Marty Football is back at home tomorrow afternoon, hosting Morningside at Crane-Youngworth Field.

The Lancers are 3 and 1 on the year following a 56-7 win over Waldorf last week. Morningside is also 3 and 1 coming off a 70-0 win over Doane last Saturday.

Kickoff from Yankton is scheduled for 1:00 PM tomorrow. Pregame coverage on KYNT and KYNTV begins at noon. Steve Thum and Tehl Tanner will be on the call.

Yankton Bucks and Gazelles Soccer have their last matches of the regular season tomorrow, as they are on the road for a doubleheader with Aberdeen Central.

The Gazelles are currently 8th in Class AA with a 7, 4, and 2 record. The Bucks are 19th in the class at 2, 10, and 1.

The Bucks will play first at noon with the Gazelles to follow.

Mount Marty Men’s and Women’s Soccer returns home tomorrow night to host Dordt for a GPAC Doubleheader.

The Women are scheduled to play first with the men to follow. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:00 PM. 

Start times may change depending on the Lancer football game taking place earlier in the day at Crane-Youngworth Field.

Yankton Gazelles Tennis went 2 and 0 in their triangular yesterday, defeating Harrisburg 6-3 and sweeping Sioux Falls Washington 9-0.

Nora and Sabrina Krajewski (Kra-ski) went 4 and 0 over their singles and doubles matches with the Tigers and Warriors, as did Paige Mitzel.

Next up for the Gazelles is day one of the ESD Conference Meet on Monday in Watertown.

Yankton Competitive Cheer and Dance will compete in a varsity invitational tomorrow, hosted by Harrisburg. Events are scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM.

The South Dakota Coyotes return to the DakotaDome today for a top-25 matchup with Southern Illinois.

USD is 2 and 1 on the year and ranked #5 in the country following last week’s 42 to 3 victory over the Drake Bulldogs. Southern Illinois is currently ranked #17.

Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 PM tomorrow afternoon.

The South Dakota State Jackrabbits are on a bye this week following last week’s 41-0 shutout of Southeastern Louisiana.

The Jackrabbits are 3 and 1 on the year and are the #1 ranked team in the latest FCS Top 25 Polls.

SDSU returns to action next week with a road matchup against Northern Iowa.

The Nebraska Cornhuskers look to bounce back this week with a road Big 10 matchup against Purdue.

Nebraska is 3 and 1 on the year following last week’s overtime loss to Illinois in Lincoln. This will be the first road game of the season for the Huskers.

Kickoff is scheduled for 11:00 AM tomorrow morning. Pregame coverage on Riverfront Broadcasting 93.1 FM begins at 7:00 AM.
