Mark Kathol and Alivia Dimmer have been crowned as the Yankton High School’s Pioneer Days Prince and Princess of 2024.
Dimmer, who is involved in volleyball, track, and marching band, says that she is honored to represent her class and the school.
Kathol, who plays football and baseball, says that being named Pioneer Prince was a special moment for him.
Pioneer Days will continue on Friday with the homecoming parade at 2:30 and the football game vs Sturgis at 7 p.m.
