Authorities Believe Missing Crofton Boy is in Hiding, Not Kidnapped

Authorities believe that a Crofton boy that has been missing since Monday afternoon is in hiding.

Holden Duncan, age 11, was last seen getting off a bus around 4 p.m. Monday at the Crofton High School and was reported missing around 10 p.m. that night.

According to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office, surveillance cameras belonging to a private citizen showed Holden alone, unharmed and on foot near the north edge of Crofton at approximately 6:30 P.M. Monday.

The Knox County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that this is not the first time Holden has not returned home, but never for this extended period of time.

Authorities have been consulting with the FBI on the matter.

Holden has sandy brown hair. He’s 4’3” and approximately 80 lbs., he was last seen wearing Black long sleeve Under Armor shirt, Black Sweatpants, black Nike shoes, and glasses

Law enforcement is asking that anyone in the Crofton area who have home surveillance cameras to check them as far back as 4:00 P.M. on Monday.
