Tonight is Senior Night for Yankton Bucks Football, as they host the Mitchell Kernels at Crane-Youngworth Field.
The Bucks are 6-2 on the year following their win over Tea last week and are the #1 team in Class 11-AA. Mitchell is on the outside looking in on the postseason with a 1-7 record.
Along with the Senior Night festivities, there will be a celebration of former coach Max Hawk, and Class AA Tennis State Champions Nora and Sabrina Krajewski will be honored.

Mount Marty Volleyball fell to the #3 ranked Concordia Bulldogs last night, 3 sets to 1 in Seward, Nebraska.
The Lancers took set one 25-23 before the Bulldogs claimed the next three sets and the victory.
Julia Weber recorded a team-high 14 kills, followed by Caitlin Guenther with 10 kills and 4 blocks. Tevan Erickson tallied 38 assists for MMU.
The Lancers have a week off before their next match, as they take on the College of Saint Mary next Wednesday in Omaha, Nebraska.
Mount Marty Men’s and Women’s Soccer were swept by Midland last night in a GPAC Doubleheader.
The Lancer men fell 1-0 to the Warriors. Antoine Le Barre recorded six saves in the loss.
The Lancer women were defeated 3-1 by Midland. Shyanna Reich scored the lone goal for MMU.
The Lancers are back in action on Saturday, taking on Concordia in a home doubleheader. The women play first at 1:00 PM with the men to follow.
Mount Marty Cross Country has their last meet of the regular season today, as they host the MMU Invitational.
Today’s race will be the last for MMU before the GPAC Championships on November 9th. Races will be held at Fox Run Golf Course beginning at 4:00 PM.
Yankton Gazelles Volleyball will be on the road tomorrow for the first three matches of the two-day East/West Tournament.
Tomorrow’s slate of matches will be held in Spearfish. Yankton will face Rapid City Central, Rapid City Stevens, and Spearfish on day one, before facing Sturgis and Douglas in Sturgis on Saturday.
Yankton’s first match will be against Rapid City Central tomorrow at 4:00 PM Mountain Time.
The Crofton Warriors open up the Class D1 Football Playoffs tonight, as they host the Bloomfield Bees.
The Warriors are the #2 seed in Class D1 East, tallying a 7-1 record in the regular season. Bloomfield enters as the #15 seed.
