Dakota Theatre has tabbed Julie Perakslis as its new Executive Director.
Peraklis, who has served in many roles in the Yankton Community, including time as the Executive Director of Keep Yankton Beautiful, says that she “Loves the world of theatre”, and has volunteered many times over the years with various productions at the Dakota Theatre.
Chris Hunhoff, the Onward Yankton Board Chair, says that “Our board and our entire team of volunteers are all excited about having Julie come aboard as we bring the theater to life”.
The hire was announced Monday afternoon.
