Yankton High School Senior Aliya Fluke signed with Mount Marty University on Wednesday to continue her athletic and academic career as a Lancer Cheerleader.
Fluke says her journey as a cheerleader started outside of Yankton as a 5th grader in Pierre.
Fluke added that the community around Mount Marty was a key factor in her decision to be a Lancer
Fluke says with her future as a Lancer now set, she’s looking forward to the rest of her senior year at Yankton High School, making memories with her friends, as well as prom and graduation in the spring.
Fluke will graduate from Yankton High School in the spring ahead of joining Mount Marty next fall.
