The Yankton City Commission honored the Yankton Fire Department for its 150th birthday at the latest city commission meeting.
Yankton City Manager, Amy Leon, says that this was supposed to happen at the 150th celebration in September, but the weather delayed that.
Numerous fire fighters were in attendance at the meeting, including Fire Chief, Tim Linke, and Deputy Fire Chief, Daniel Prendable.
