Several Yankton Bucks Football players have been selected as All-State honorees for Class 11-AA, led by an All-American selection for linebacker Matthew Sheldon.
Along with Sheldon, Quarterback Easton Nelson, Running Back Evan Serck, Wide Receiver Carson Ness, Offensive Lineman Lucas Cordell, and Returner Connor Slaba were selected. Bryce Kral was selected as one of two “athletes” for the All-State team.
Along with the All-State honorees, Cale Haselhorst was selected as an Honorable Mention. The Bucks finished the 2024 campaign with an 8-3 record, advancing to the Class 11-AA Semi-Finals.
All seven of Yankton’s All-State selections were seniors, with honorable mention Cale Haselhorst as the lone junior.
