Mount Marty Men’s Basketball is in action tomorrow afternoon, hosting York University in a non-conference matchup.
The Lancer men are 6-2 coming off of a 72-47 win over Hastings on Tuesday. The victory was the third straight for MMU.
Tip-off is scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday afternoon. Pregame coverage on KYNT and KYNTV begins at 1:30. Tehl Tanner will be on the call.
With December arriving on Sunday, the Yankton High School winter athletic season is set to begin next week.
Gymnastics will be the first event on Tuesday, December 3rd, with a home triangular against Mitchell and Parkston/Ethan/Hanson.

Mount Marty Indoor Track and Field begins competition next Friday with a two-day meet in Brookings.
MMU will compete in the SDSU Holiday Open & Multi’s on Friday, December 6th, and Saturday, December 7th.
South Dakota Men’s Basketball fell to 6-3 on Wednesday with a 86-79 loss to Nebraska in Lincoln.
Chase Forte led USD with 20 points in the loss. Dre Bullock, 16, and Isaac Bruns, 12, also scored in double figures for the Coyotes.
USD is off until next Wednesday when they begin the Big Sky-Summit Challenge with a game against Idaho State in Vermillion.
South Dakota Women’s Basketball had their three-game win streak come to an end on Wednesday with a 95-88 loss to Arizona State.
Grace Larkins led USD with a 30-point, 11-assist double-double, adding 7 rebounds as well. Alexi Hempe (Hemp-ee) was 2nd in scoring with 21 points.
USD is off until next Wednesday when they begin the Big Sky-Summit Challenge with a game against Montana State in Bozeman, Montana.
The South Dakota High School Football All-State teams were released earlier this week, and several area athletes from outside of Yankton earned All-State honors following the 2024 football season.

The Nebraska Cornhuskers wrap up their regular season tonight with the Heroes Game against the Iowa Hawkeyes.
The Huskers are 6-5 on the year, bowl-eligible for the first time in nearly a decade after last week’s win over Wisconsin. Nebraska is 4-9 against Iowa since 2011.
Kickoff from Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City is scheduled for 6:30 PM. Pregame coverage on Riverfront station 93.1 FM begins at 2:30.
