Mount Marty Men’s and Women’s Basketball will be on the road tonight to face Doane in a GPAC doubleheader.

The Lancer Men are 6-3 on the year, 3-1 in GPAC play, coming off their 71-67 loss to York University on Saturday.

The Lancer Women enter with a 6-4 overall record looking for their first conference win of the season.

The Women will play first at 6:00 PM with the men to follow. Pregame coverage on KYNT begins at 5:15. Tehl Tanner will be on the call. 

Yankton Gymnastics finished 2nd in their home triangular against Mitchell and Parkston/Ethan/Hanson last night, scoring 133.8 as a team.

Sophomores Burkely Olson and Marissa Byrkeland were the top finishers for Yankton, taking home 4th and 5th in the All-Around competition. Mitchell claimed the team title with a score of 147.35.

Yankton has over a week before their next competition, a road quadrangular in Mitchell on Thursday, December 12th. Mitchell, Pierre, and O’Gorman will compete in the event.

Yankton Bucks and Gazelles Wrestling open their 2024-25 season tomorrow night with a home triangular at Yankton High School.

Yankton will face Watertown and Beresford/Alcester-Hudson during the event. Matches are scheduled to begin at 5:00 PM Thursday evening.

New Yankton Gazelles Head Basketball Coach Blake Savey will be the featured guest speaker at today’s Yankton Quarterback Club Meeting.

Savey begins his first season as the Gazelles head coach on Friday with a road matchup against Sioux Falls Lincoln. 

A paid meal will be served beginning at 11:15, with the meeting starting at noon. The public is invited to attend.

South Dakota Coyotes Volleyball will be in Omaha, Nebraska tomorrow night to take on the #2-seeded Creighton Blue Jays in the 1st round of the NCAA Tournament.

USD enters the tournament as the Summit League Tournament Champions, holding a 21-9 overall record.

First serve is scheduled for 7:00 PM tomorrow night.

South Dakota Men’s Basketball returns to the hardwood tonight, hosting Idaho State to begin the Big Sky-Summit Challenge.

The Coyotes are 6-3 on the year following a 96-79 loss to Nebraska last Wednesday night. 

Tip-off from Vermillion is scheduled for 7:00 PM.

South Dakota Women’s Basketball is on the road in Bozeman, Montana tonight to take on Montana State in their first game of the Big Sky-Summit Challenge.

USD is 3-5 on the year coming off a loss to Arizona State last week. Montana State enters the contest with a 6-1 record.

Tip-off is scheduled for 8:00 PM.

South Dakota State Men’s Basketball has their first Big Sky-Summit Challenge matchup tonight, taking on Montana.

SDSU is 7-2 coming off a 78-62 win over Dakota Wesleyan in their last game. Montana is currently 5-3, winning their last 3 straight games.

Tip-off from Missoula, Montana is scheduled for 8:00 PM this evening.

South Dakota State Women’s Basketball has their first game of the Big Sky-Summit Challenge this evening, hosting Eastern Washington.

SDSU enters the contest with a 5-2 record, coming off a 63-55 win over Ball State on Sunday. Eastern Washington is 2-5 to start the season.

Tip-off from First Bank & Trust Arena in Brookings is scheduled for 7:00 PM.
