It has been a little over a week since the officer involved shooting in the west parking lot of the Yankton High School.
Yankton Police Chief, Jason Foote, says that the police department is doing what they can to offer support to the officers that were involved.
Foote commended the officers and school staff that were on scene at the time of the shooting.
A Watertown man, Andrew Jondahl, has been charged in the matter.
