The man facing charges in a homicide committed in Yankton last week is set to appear in court Wednesday
Theordore Edward Kranig Jr., 19, made his first court appearance on Monday.
The alleged incident occurred last Friday when officers were called to a residence in the 1000 block of Walnut Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered the victim with several stab wounds.
Officers arrested Kranig later the same evening when he attempted to enter the apartment.
Kranig faces charges of second-degree murder, a Class B felony, and first-degree manslaughter.
Kranig is set to appear in court in Yankton County at 3 p.m. Wednesday
