Mount Marty Men’s and Women’s basketball will be on the road in Seward, Nebraska tomorrow night for a GPAC doubleheader with Concordia.

The Lancer men enter the contest with 7-9 record, 4-6 in GPAC play. They will face a Bulldogs team that is 13-4 and riding a 6-game win streak.

The Lancer women are 8-9 on the season coming off their loss to Dordt. Concordia is 7-9 overall, 4-8 in GPAC play.

The women play first tomorrow night at 6:00 PM with the men to follow. Pregame coverage on KYNT begins at 5:15. Tehl Tanner will be on the call.

Yankton Bucks and Gazelles wrestling returns to the mats tonight to host the Bon Homme-Avon boys and Bon Homme-Scotland-Avon girls in duals.

Tonight is Young Bucks and Gazelles’ night. All Yankton students grades K through 5 will receive free admission to the event. 

Competition begins at 4:30 with varsity matches scheduled for 7:30.

Yankton Gymnastics has a home triangular tonight at River City Gymnastics & Cheer, hosting Brookings and Harrisburg.

Yankton is coming off an 8th-place finish at this past weekend’s Patty Jorgenson Invitational gymnastics meet in Brookings. Yankton scored a 133.55 as a team, led by Avery Portillo who took the top spot in the floor exercise with a 9.5 and finished 6th all-around.

Tonight’s events are scheduled to begin at 5:30 PM.

South Dakota State University head women’s basketball coach Aaron Johnston will be the featured guest speaker at tomorrow’s Yankton Quarterback Club meeting.

Johnston has tallied a 612-194 record at the helm for SDSU since taking over as interim head coach during the 1998-99 season. SDSU is currently 14-3 this season, 4-0 in the Summit League.

Tomorrow’s meeting will be held at the River Rock Event Center in Yankton. A paid meal will be served at 11:15, with the meeting beginning at noon. The public is invited to attend.

Cedar Catholic Trojans Boys and Girls Basketball are on the road tonight, taking on the Wynot Blue Devils in a doubleheader, with audio coverage available on the KYNTV YouTube page,

The Trojan boys are 7-3 on the year having won 5 straight, while the girls are 7-4 following their win over Laurel-Concord-Coleridge last week.

The girls are scheduled to play first at 6:00 PM with the boys to follow. Pregame coverage on KYNTV begins at 5:45. Scott Ulrich will be on the call.

The South Dakota Coyotes will be on the road in Grand Forks, ND tomorrow night for a Summit League women’s basketball clash against North Dakota.

USD is 9-9 on the year, 3-1 in conference play, following a 71-66 win over Omaha on Saturday. North Dakota currently holds a 7-10 record this season.

Tip-off from Grand Forks is scheduled for 7:00 PM tomorrow.
